Inventory Manager

Years at Bay: 23

Quick Facts:
Born in Cleveland, grew up in Parma, Ohio. Met husband, Bill, at job prior to Bay Corporation. Spent the last 40 + years living in the West Park neighborhood. Enjoys being near three children and four grandchildren.

What are three things you have a passion for?
Cooking, dancing, and inventory planning... in that order.
You have to give up one food forever and eat only one forever. What would they be?
I would give up eating "potted meat" (yes there is such a thing, it's right next to the Vienna sausages on the grocery shelf) but what is "potted meat"? Hmmm...

I would eat chicken. You can cook it up in many ways so it doesn't get boring.

What are your proudest accomplishments professionally and personally?
Professionally it is being the inventory planner at Bay. The challenge of making sure we have product to production on time so they can meet sales needs is very rewarding (many think this is boring).

Personally it is being a wife, mother and grandmother. Having grandchildren in this stage of our life makes everything worthwhile. The best part is they go home at the end of the visit. Thank god, because those little ones are exhausting.

What are your favorite things about Cleveland/NE Ohio?
Most definitely it is the weather. Like right now, the lovely white covering and the sub-zero temps... how can you not like that. The other seasons are okay too!

Would you rather...
Eat a worm or go bungee-jumping?
I would eat a worm. You can eat a worm while standing on the ground. And you don't have to worry about the bungee breaking and YOU becoming worm food.
Be a cat or a dog?
Dog. Dog spelled back words is God.
Only travel by mule or unicycle?
I would choose the mule for a couple of reasons... the ride would be slow so you can enjoy the landscape and if chaos should hit, you can eat your ride.

What was your favorite thing about your favorite vacation destination?
The Atlantic Ocean at Virginia Beach. As soon as I am there watching the waves, I totally de-stress.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
An astronaut. I grew up during the beginning of the space program and was totally involved with all the news about the Mercury and Apollo missions.

What is one thing that nobody knows about you?
If I answer this question then I will have no deep, dark secrets.

Who will be the first Cleveland sports team to win a championship this century?
Darn well better be the Cleveland Indians. I have vowed that they need to win the World Series before my demise. I don't think that I will make it to the 22nd Century.

If you could have the ability to teleport for one day, where would you travel?
Parma, Ohio. Do you know how hard it is to get from Westlake to Parma? Teleporting would make it easy and quick.

If you could have the superpower of your choice, what would it be?
Controlling other people's minds. Think about how cool it would be to go to Washington D.C. and hang out. If you know what I mean...

Best and worst summer job?
Never worked a summer job during my teens. Child of privilege? Actually, my mom didn't drive and my dad didn't like me taking the bus. I was the baby of the family.

If you could have dinner with anybody, who would it be?
George W. Bush. I admire and respect him and his admiration for our soldiers.

What came first, the chicken or the egg?
The egg of course. It was called an amoeba back then.

If you melt dry ice, can you take a bath without getting wet?
Duh! I didn't get where I am today by answering really dumb questions.
