Doug is a graduate of Lorain County Community College, where he majored in Quality Assurance. He joined Bay Corporation in 1998 as a Quality Inspector and then later he was promoted to Inspection Supervisor. In 2013, Doug was promoted to CAD/Quality Assurance Engineer.
Doug’s primary responsibilities include preparing engineering drawings and documents for the initial release of products. He assists with design, development, and testing of new products as well as he is responsible for ensuring all plant equipment is properly monitored and maintained to comply with all requirements of our Quality Management System. Doug also assists our inspection department as needed.
Doug resides in Lakewood with his fiancée, Jill, and her two children. He is a founding member of the Sheffield Lake Yacht Club, where he holds the position of Vice Admiral on the board. He enjoys the booming Cleveland craft beer scene and restoring his old Ford Bronco. He and Jill love the outdoors, especially kayaking.
